Coming Soon: Free Plugins (& what they do)

If you’re following us, you’ve probably heard about one of our paid plugins. Primarily because it’s all we have on our site right now! We’ve built a few paid plugins, and we’re working on a few more to help support our members and supplement the theme we’re building.

(I’ll share more about our block-based, core WordPress 2024 limited theme later)

Here are the two most popular paid plugins that our clients are using:

dynamic connector block

We’re ALSO Making Freebies!

We’ve submitted our free plugins to the WordPress repo, but it’s taking a bit longer than we’d like to make those available to the public for free.

I’m going to share a bit more about our free plugins that are ready for you guys to play with.

After that, I’ll spend the next week or two making sure that our free plugins are actively available for you all to download for free ASAP on THIS site!

Last, but not least:

Automatic Block Inserter

This is the free plugin that made me think “OMG, my clients needed this yesterday.” Many of my Dynamic Connector Block users had questions about how to insert their logic-based reusable blocks on steroids in bulk.

We found a few options already available, but they didn’t work with what my clients are typically looking for which is true customization AND ad optimizations.

So, after custom coding a solution for a few of our custom theme and retainer clients at Once Coupled on an hourly basis… we decided we needed to build a long-term solution available to all. It took a bit of work, a few developer’s brains, and a lot of sugar. But we got it done.

Introducing: reusable block inserter!! It’s actually getting a new name this weekend, we’re leaning towards “automatic block inserter”.

Here’s the gist of our free block inserter plugin we’ve made:

  • You can insert reusable blocks, or dynamic blocks (because they’re better, obviously) in a specific location.
    • You’re no longer limited to “the top of content” or “bottom of content”
    • For instance, if you want to place DCB after every 2nd image on your site- now you can! Without paying for custom code to make that happen.
