Our Dynamic Connector Block is going to make your life a whole lot easier- particularly in terms of bulk editing. If you’re a content creator, you’re likely getting a little triggered by the term bulk editing. Why? Well, because it’s the worst. Just hire a VA and call it a day… am I right?
The old way to bulk edit:
Insert a reusable block with category 1 (say, breakfast). Insert a separate reusable block for Category 2 (dinner, eh?).
… but what do you do when you’re ready to release an ebook about something that’s a bit more specific (muffins!) than the original categories?
You have to go into every post that’s in that ebook’s more specific category and change out the category level reusable block for this new, more specific topic you wrote your ebook on.
Our way:
Insert your Dynamic Connector Block into all of your posts where you want them. It doesn’t matter what category the post is in, and you can even use other tools to auto-insert this block into all posts if you want. We work well with others.
Go into the Conditional Content settings and create an opt-in for your first book, assigned to posts in category 1 (breakfast) and a second piece of content assigned to posts in category 2 (dinner).
When you have a new, third ebook for Muffins it’s easy! Create the content you’d like to share for your new, third book and assign it to posts in the ‘muffins’ category. There’s no need to edit any posts!
Each rule has a priority level. So if you have a post that fits into multiple categories, so breakfast and dinner muffin posts, you’ll simply set muffins as the higher priority to share the most specific information that your users will love.
