Post Date Smarter Modified is a simple yet powerful WordPress plugin that allows you to display the modified or published date based on whichever is newer.

You can enable displaying the most recent date by enabling the toggle provided on “Post Date” block.

Installation 💾

1. Download the .zip file and unzip it.
2. Upload the post-date-smarter-modified folder to your /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
3. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.

Usage 🔧

1. Navigate to any WordPress post/page editor.
2. Insert or Select post date block.
3. Enable the recent date logic using the toolbar button.
